The harvested grapes are delicately destemmed, followed by 24-hour maceration in stainless steel containers at a temperature of 10° -12° C. Soft pressing follows and the must thus obtained is clarified by decanting. The vinification continues with the alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature (20-22° C) in stainless steel containers. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 3-4 months in stainless steel tanks, taking particular care in the preservation and evolution of the "fine lees", with frequent bâtonnage (stirring).

Verduzzo is a native variety, characteristic of our region and widely cultivated, especially in hilly areas. There are two main clones: Verduzzo Verde and Verduzzo Giallo. Verduzzo Verde is cultivated in the plains and gives rise to a dry white wine, while Giallo, not very productive but of great quality, cultivated in the hills, is destined for the production of raisin wine.

This wine has a deep golden yellow colour. The bouquet is broad and fresh reminiscent of acacia flowers, apple, apricot. Slightly tannic and robust in body, it repeats its characteristic honey flavour on the nose.
It is definitely a dessert wine, but it is also suitable for drinking at the end the meal with gorgonzola, spicy and mature cheeses. It also pairs perfectly with Friulian delicacies such as pumpkin gnocchi with smoked ricotta.
